Avenue Hostel opened in July 2014 and is located on Andrassy Avenue in central Budapest. The property has free Wi-Fi, shared kitchens, and a snack bar. A metro station (line 1) and tram stops (lines 4 and 6) are a 2-minute walk away.

The hostel has family rooms accessible by elevator. Some rooms have private bathrooms with bidets, while others use shared bathrooms on the corridor with bathtubs or showers and hairdryers. Rooms include soundproofing elements, bed linen, and clothes racks.

There is a 24-hour reception desk and an elevator. Guests have access to a common lounge with a TV and computer. Evening entertainment programs take place onsite, board games and puzzles are available.

Parking spaces are provided onsite along with airport transfer services. Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are installed for safety. Room doors have electronic card locks.

The hostel is about a 7-minute walk from Nyugati railway station, approximately 1.5 km from the Danube River, and around 2 km from the Royal Castle.

The staff were friendly, especially Eszter, Felica, Vali, Szabi, Norbi and Csilla who showed careful attention to customers and helped with room changes. The location was strategic near shops, public transportation and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty and free. The room had a comfortable bed and continuous cleaning was done.
